This policy explains how Blume Equity LLP collects, uses and protects personal data in connection with this website and our business. It should be read with any separate privacy notice we give you (for example, as an investor). This website is for information only and is not an offer or solicitation to invest.
1. Who we are
Blume Equity LLP (“Blume Equity”, “we”, “us”) is a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales (number OC431569), with its registered office and principal place of business at 50 Grosvenor Hill, London W1K 3QT, United Kingdom. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference Number 1039673) and advise Blume Equity Fund I SCSp and related vehicles (the “Funds”).

2. What we collect
Contact and correspondence details – such as your name, job title, employer, email address and telephone number, and the content of your communications with us.
Business relationship information – relevant to a potential or existing investment, transaction or relationship. Investor onboarding and KYC/AML data is covered by a separate investor privacy notice.
Technical and usage data – such as your IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed.
Information from third parties and public sources – such as co-investors, advisers, our fund administrator, Companies House and LinkedIn.
We do not seek to collect special category data. This website is not directed at children. This policy does not cover job applicants or staff, who receive a separate notice.
3. How we use it and our legal bases
Responding to enquiries and corresponding with you.

We do not use this website for marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed with the Funds and their manager and administrator; our IT, hosting and CRM service providers (under written contracts); professional advisers; co-investors and portfolio companies where relevant to a transaction; regulators and authorities, including the FCA, where required; and any buyer or successor of our business.
5. International transfers
Your data may be processed in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where a country does not have UK adequacy status, we use approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Records required under FCA rules and anti-money laundering law are generally kept for at least five years after the relevant transaction or relationship ends. We then securely delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data; restrict or object to its use; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within one month. You will not be charged a fee, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
8. Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern; we will acknowledge complaints within 30 days. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
9. Security and changes
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. We may update this policy from time to time and will post changes on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
