Rens is a principal at Blume Equity and brings 7+ years of climate tech venture and growth investing experience.

Rens was a founding member of Rabo Ventures, a €200 million venture capital fund. Over five years, he was instrumental in building and scaling the investment portfolio, executing 10+ investments and providing active support to portfolio companies through their growth trajectory. Prior to Rabo, he worked at Deloitte Consulting, developing expertise in digital strategy and financial structuring. Rens holds master's degrees in Digital Strategy and Finance & Investments.

Based in Rotterdam for over a decade, he has deep investor networks across the Benelux region and beyond. Outside the office, Rens enjoys a broad range of sports including football, golf, tennis and skiing.
